Well as most of you remember I was in the process of moving well ever since then I moved 3 times but I finally have the time to sit down and get blogging....This time I am here to stay I learned how to blog on the go!! I got a better phone to keep everything updated....I have big news, I will be having a few changes to the blog....I'll be having way more topics as well as video content now that I have a better quality camera. Physicians Formula!!! ( Foundation...Concealer...Pressed Powder!!! ) and also Covergirl's Whipped creme Foundation!!!


Hello Ladies and Thank You for stopping by:))

Well Today's post I wanted to make it more beauty related. The question I get asked a lot and I mean a lot is what foundation I currently use. 
Well as you can tell by the picture above I currently use " Physicians Formula" The Super BB Collection.
It is such an amazing product, as well as easy on the skin. (remember everyone's skin is different). Now let me break it down:))

                      Physicians Formula Super BB 10-in-1 Beauty Balm Concealer


This concealer does wonders for me. I have tried MANY others, including all the really expensive ones.Some didn't cover nothing at all, others broke me out, and then there was the ones that became my worst night mare by caking my face:( Then I met this baby:)) It became my bff:)) It is super light yet it covers Everything. It does not crease at all, and it lasts all day/night!

What can I say about this Product...one word AMAZING. It is super light, does not crease at all. Super easy to apply. You need very little product for your whole face. It Looks amazing all day. Never looks like a cake on your face I usually use it just for work, daily basis. I have occasionally used it for clubbing, but I prefer a even more full coverage one for the night:)) This one does cover a lot also, but if your going to be dancing and sweating. I rather use a more thicker one:)) (applied lightly)...




PHYSICIANS FORMULA Super BB All-In-1 Beauty Balm Powder

This product I use to seal the foundation in. I never replace it for actual foundation. This product works great and helps cover any imperfections your foundation applicator might of missed:) It comes with a little brush but I like using my own. fluffy powder brush. It leaves your face with a smooth finished look, and super soft:) With the application all of three products together your fave will look flawless:))


All three products are very inexpensive, if purchased separately they are $10-$13 each. I buy the bundle which is the very first picture above,all 3 for $19.98 (around there) plus taxes:) @ my local Walmart. 




                 COVERGIRL CLEAN WHIPPED CREME FOUNDATION

Now, this product became my Bff also. I use this when I go out dancing or where I know I am going to be sweating or I am going to be there for long periods of time, also for events, and photo shoots:) This product provides a very good full coverage, and works very well with the supper BB pressed powder:) Let me add that its also very inexpensive as well. Sweating and everything this product will have your face looking flawless all night.

"Healthy Recipe" called " CHICKEN STIR-FRY

CHICKEN STIR-FRY    
                                       
Ingredients:
Water
3 medium carrots
6 to 7 scallions (onions)
3 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1½ pounds total)
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 Tablespoon canola oil
2 Tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
Optional: Any veggies you'd like
These measurements are for 4-5 servings

Instructions:
Boil a kettle of water.
Cut carrots into 3-inch-long batons. Cut white and light-green parts of scallions (onions)crosswise into thin slices.
Trim fat from chicken, then cut into 1-inch chunks. Pat dry with paper towels as needed, then evenly season with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in pan or large skillet over high heat. Swirl to coat.
Once oil is hot, add chicken. Stir-fry for about 6 minutes, until mostly cooked. Then transfer to a plate, and set to the side.
Add your carrots to your pan or skillet and stir-fry for about 3 minutes, until lightly softened. Add scallions ( onions ) and stir-fry for 1 minute. Carefully Pour in the soy sauce, then return chicken to pan or skillet. Cook for 2 minutes. Let it set for about 2-3 Minutes and then you are ready to serve. 

Tips:
1) You can add as many different veggies you'd like.
(Example: Bell peppers, Tomatoes, some people even add potatoes, a really popular is broccoli)  Just anything your taste buds desire:))
Have fun with it!   
2) You can serve it with a side of steamed rice..or
Place the steamed rice onto the place and then serve the chicken stir-fry on top. (like the picture)
3) If you do not like soy sauce....
Yea it will change the flavor a bit but it will still be Delicious and healthy for you. Just add more salt ( if needed )to your desire taste.

Hello everyone I hope all is well :)
Well straight to the point...


"PINEAPPLES"

MMMMMM!!!! I'm eating some as I type..

Well as everyone knows pineapples are very delicious, but did you know they are also very nutritious and good for your body, but like everything too much is also bad?

There is a phrase my Nutrition Instructor said in one of our lesson, she said:
                " Everything in Moderation NOT in Exaggeration"

I know, I know this is to much information...
But Do not worry I am here to try and help you understand it...

Well First lets get started with the nutrition break down!

1 Cup of Pineapple contains appx,
          *82 Calories
          *0 Grams of fat
         *0 Grams of Cholesterol
*2 Milligrams
*22 Grams of total Carbohydrate
*16 Grams of sugar
*2.3 Grams of fiber
*1 Gram of Protein

Also:
131% of Vitamin C
2% of Vitamin A
2% of Calcium
2% of Iron

So now that you know that Break down lets talk more facts.

Did you know that Fresh Pineapples are the only known source of an Enzyme called Bromelain?
(Studies show that it helps alleviate Joint Pain, Arthritis, Reduce Inflammation, Inhibit tumor growth, Shorten recovery time after plastic surgery) I know WOW right:)

Some of you maybe like me and thinking well I do not know how to choose a Pineapple. Well let me tell you how... I did my researched and the most common was:
to select the pineapple with firm, plump body without any bruising or soft spots and green leaves at the crown.

Tip: Whole or cut pineapples should be stored in The refrigerator at ALL times.


The moment when the time comes that your having a snack craving but you are lazy to cut open a pineapple so you decide to snack on something  less healthy for you.

Tip: Have some Pineapple dices already in a covered bowl or in a zip lock bag. So when you open your fridge it becomes easier to snack on that instead of something else.

Tip: If you must consume canned pineapple try and get the ones in pineapple juice not the ones in heavy syrup.

OKAY like I said no matter how healthy something is it also has some bad in it...So here it is...

If you suffer from gastro-esophageal disease (GERD) you may  increase the risk of you symptoms getting stronger or more frequently due to the acid in pineapples. (individual reactions may very)

For those with kidney problems consuming too much potassium can be harmful. (even fatal)

For those taking BETA-BLOCKERS (medication usually prescribed for heart disease) Foods high in potassium should be consumed in moderation when taking beta-blocker.  

So now you know, add more pineapple into your diet but remember:

WITH MODERATION NOT EXAGGERATION!!!!!

Diets

( Remember I share my own Personal Opinion and Experience, I am not a Nutritionist nor any professional, I just have learn through the years and I am here to share...) 

Okay Ladies!

This is a very common subject and the most questions I get asked about!

Well first let me tell you a little bit about diets...

You should never make your body suffer, or neglect it. Do not EVER starve yourself, (When you stop eating your body goes Into starvation mode and holds on to the body fat and all the food inside of you so really starving yourself is the slowest way to loose weight.) and no one wants that right...?
 Do not force yourself to eat foods that harm you (make your tummy or any part of your body upset)

If you are pregnant diets are still possible but you have more limits due to your baby depends on what you eat and drink (always consult your doctor)! You can always eat a lot BUT healthy! ( I have tips and tricks for after giving birth, and also while pregnant...)


I believe there is no such thing as "A CHEAT DAY"  ( I use to have one once a week, but I feel that it makes my diet useless, so now I took it OUT!!!!


ALL Diets are required of a lot of strength and discipline...They are all mind POWER!!!
Have you ever had those days where you are at a drive-thru and say can I get one Mcchicken and a large soda...and then you stop and think omg I am so hungry that is not going to fill me up so you add a second burger plus some fries and/or another side then some of us get that sweet tooth and get a desert. Well that's all in your head because I personally have done this and I start eating and by the time I am done with the 1st burger I have no room for nothing else so once again your mind playing tricks.

It is true that you have to eat 6 SMALL servings a day!!!

DETOX WATER

HOW LONG DO I LEAVE IT,  BEFORE DRINKING IT?
ANSWER:
I INFUSE IT OVER NIGHT FOR BEST RESULTS. YOU CAN ALSO LEAVE IT 2-8 HOURS BEFORE INTAKE..

JUST PUT IT LIKE THIS THE MORE YOU LEAVE IT THE STRONGER THE FLAVOR THE WATER WILL HAVE.
